Abstract: The presence of misfire has brought a huge security risk to the production of the mine in surface deep-hole blasting and affect the mining schemes as well.With the blasting cases，the causes of the misfire accidents in the surface mine are analyzed in detail，a series of measures to prevent from the misfire accidents are put forward to ensure the safety of surface mine blasting.
