FLAC3D-based Numerical Simulation Analysis on the Sequence of Pillar Recovery

Abstract: How to arrange the sequence of pillar recovery is of great significance to keep the stability and safety of surrounding rocks in mined-out processing. The sequence becomes the key issue to study the goaf treatment. FLAC3D numerical simulation is adopted to simulate four kinds of pillars' recovery at No.2 goaf in Dongshenmiao lead-zinc deposit, that is, from one end to the other, from two ends to the middle, interval mining, and from the middle to both ends. Through contrasting and analyzing, a more rational recovery sequence of from the middle to both ends is obtained, which can guarantee the production safety.
