Abstract: According to the production status of metal mine，a quick decision-making method of ventilation system based on fuzzy similarity priority ratio method is presented and its application range is illustrated. With the combination of its application in ventilation，the paper describes the mathematical principle of this ventilation decision-making method and explained the related physical meaning in these mathematical models. Lastly，the fuzzy similarity priority ratio method is adopted to determine the temporary modifying ventilation scheme of -16 m level for an iron mine belonging to Shouyun mining company which has transferred from open pit to underground mining to illustrate the practical application process.
