Abstract: With four kinds of foaming agent (F1, F2, F3 and F4), the thickener H, the cross-linking agent AL and fly ash from Datun Coal and Electricity Company as raw materials, the multiphase gel foam for the underground fire prevention of coal mine is prepared, focusing on studying the proportion and dosage of foaming agents, the mixture ratio and dosage of thickener H and cross-linking agent Al, and influences of different foaming (foaming by mechanical stirring and foaming by compressed nitrogen) on the foam properties of materials. The results show that under the conditions of the mass ratio of F1 and F3 at 1∶1, the mass ratio of complex foaming agent and water at 4‰, the mass ratio of thickener H, cross-linking agent AL and water at 3‰, and the water-cement ratio of 5∶1, the multiphase gel foam with highest performance is produced by the compressed gas foaming.
