Abstract: Besides of copper, a copper polymetallic ore in Sichuan is also associated with molybdenum, sulfur cobalt and iron. In order to make rational and effective use of the ore, the beneficiation test researches are made. The results show that the efficient recovery of copper is achieved and the comprehensive recovery of molybdenum, sulfur cobalt and iron is also realized by adopting the process of copper-molybdenum mixed flotation-the flotation of copper and molybdenum-sulfur cobalt concentration from tailings by mixed floating-iron concentration from tailings by low intensity magnetic separation. By this method, copper concentrate with Cu grade of 21.25% and Cu recovery of 93.38%, molybdenum concentrate with Mo grade of 45.78% and Mo recovery of 45.72%, sulfur cobalt concentrate with S grade of 44.69% and Co grade of 0.46% and S recovery of 41.53% and Co recovery of 46.42%, and iron concentrate with Fe grade of 63.73% and Fe recovery of 38.29% are obtained respectively.
