Abstract: Combining with the development history of mineral resources estimation in China，the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional mineral resources estimation methods were introduced in brief. Based on this，the research process and the development trends of informatization modification for the traditional mineral resource estimation in china are deeply discussed. Then，the developing direction of the traditional mineral resource estimation at post IT era in China is analyzed and discussed.
