Research and Design of Mine Safety Monitoring Network

Abstract: A novel design method for mine safety monitoring network based on the special development form of mines is proposed. According to the different environmental conditions of development roadways and preparatory workings,controller area network (CAN) bus protocol and ZigBee wireless communication protocol are utilized to establish network. The new mine safety monitoring network has the advantages of both reliability and real-time of the wired network and flexibility and adaptability of the wireless network. With the poor environment and serious noise in preparatory workings,the application of error control coding methods in roadway wireless communication is analyzed with roadway channel model and the simulation,and moreover the special design method is proposed. Finally,the design of hardware and software of mine safety monitoring network is presented. The new design method for mine safety monitoring network has important reference value for the improvement of mine production safety.
