Abstract: A certain porphyritic Cu-Mo mine in Shandong with low grade of copper and molybdenum，and 90% of the total copper and molybdenum exist in Copper sulfide and molybdenum sulfide.Study on recovery of copper and molybdenum for this ore were carried out. The results showed that with grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 65%，Co-Mo mixed concentrate are obtained by preconcentration of bulk flotation tests. Copper and molybdenum separation tests were conducted under the condition of regrinding the mixed Cu-Mo concentrate to the fineness of -0.043 mm 80%. Copper concentrate with Cu grade of 20.34% and recovery of 90.23% and molybdenum concentrate with Mo grade of 50.33% and recovery of 87.53% were finally obtained.
