Abstract: Based on the recovering remnant ore engineering practice of Zhengxing Iron Mine in Hubei Daye, the finite element analysis software ANSYS is used to build the mine 3D model. On the basis of the finite element analysis of the stability of surrounding rock, combining with Design Exploration design module of ANSYS Workbench, simulating the influence of rock mass stability of complicated conditions during the process of recovering remnant, and quantified the extent of pillar mining. At the same time, launching the safety monitoring and early warning of dangerous region by means of acoustic emission technique, analysis results can provide scientific basis to acoustic emission monitoring stationing. The simulation results are instructively important for safe production in mines.
