Abstract: Through static leaching experiments, the leaching situation of four heavy metals V,Ti,Cr,Fe in waste-rocks during mining process of Pansteel under the conditions of different pH values and different immerse time was investigated. The results showed that: The leaching volume of V and Cr was overall increasing with the increase of pH value, but Fe leaching was just in reverse.Ti leaching was tiny in acidic and alkaline conditions. The leaching volumes of four heavy metals were changing irregularly with the extension of immerse time, but the reason for this needs further study.Heavy metals in high concentration in waste-rocks does not mean large leaching rate. The leaching intensity of four heavy metals all gradually decreases with the extension of immerse time.By judging its leaching strength, it is concluded that V and Ti owns an insoluble nature, Cr has a weak soluble-insoluble nature, and Fe has a moderate-strong soluble nature.Cr may harm to the environment, which needs to be monitored. The other three heavy metals have little effect on the environment.
