Abstract: With the combined mining of two methods for exploiting ore-body at -430 ~ -500 m stage of Chengchao Iron Mine as the engineering background，the pressure distribution and mining field stability problems of the stope under the combined mining method are explored.The excavation process of the ore body was simulated by numerical analysis software FLAC3D based on the finite difference theory.According to the simulation results，the stresses variation and safety factor of the stope before and after excavation and isolation pillar deformation were obtained.The control measures of underground pressure and the corresponding management system was provided as well based on the analysis results.
