Application of Vibration Inclined Plate Box Thickener in Tailings Thickening of Tongjie Plant

Abstract: With the capacity increase of the Tongjie Plant of Yunnan Hualian Zinc Indium Co.Ltd.,the ordinary box settling tank which was independently increased in the original factory was unable to meet the needs of production.In order to ensure the quality and quantity of the overflow water plant thickening system,a new type of highly efficient thickening equipment,a vibration inclined box thickener has been used for the splitting treatment.Through the production practice more than one year,when the -0.047 mm size fraction accounted for 53.36%,the concentration of 11.77%,flow rate of not less than 200 m3/h comprehensive tailings slurry is concentrated by ZXN-300 vibration inclined plate box thickener,the underflow concentration is more than 35%,the overflow solid-containing content less than 100 mg/L,the recovery rate of water is 70%~80%;one year production practice indicated the indexes are better than the original technological requirements,and the equipment is running well without fault;compared with box-settler group,the vibration inclined plate box thickener has the characteristics such as large capacity,little occupied area,high working efficiency and superior performance,it can be widely used in the high efficiency thickening of fine-size tailing.
