Abstract: Indium is a kind of scare metal with unique physical and chemical properties.First，current situation of research and application on traditional enrichment and separation technology for indium，such as substitution，precipitation，solvent extraction are introduced.In the meanwhile，current situation of research and application on new enrichment and separation technology for indium such as liquid film separation，levextrel method，chelating resins，solvent microcapsule separation，flotation and nanotechnology are reviewed too.On the basis of analysis on above new technologies，the advantages and disadvantages of each technology were pointed out with corresponding suggestions.Finally，suggestions and the outlook of indium enrichment and separation technology are given.
