Abstract: Due to the damage of the fault,a copper ore body in southern China becomes the ore block. With the ore body dip angle decrease, the ore-draw under gravity can not be achieved by the shrinkage method. At the same time, ore hanging arch in the field increases the operation risk and the ore loss.To solve this problem,a new scheme of full shrinkage method is put forward based on the shrinkage method. The new scheme integrated characteristics of the shrinkage method and overall mining method-the stope structure, mining layout of the shrinkage method and handling method, ground control of the overall mining method, which overcomes the shortcomings of the shrinkage method that does not ore-drawing under gravity,so as to solve the technical problems of ore drawing. The production results showed that the new scheme makes the mine production capacity increased by 14.3%,the development and cutting engineering reduced by 40.8%,ore loss rate reduced by 25% and ore dilution rate reduced by 16.7%.Further,it realizes the mining of high efficiency and ensures the safety of mining operations. It can provide as a reference for other similar mines.
