Hydro-pretreatment Sulfuric-acid-leaching on a Foreign Copper Oxide Ore

Abstract: Main copper minerals in a foreign copper oxide are pseudo-malachite,chalcosiderite and hentschelite,with Cu grade of 2.07%,oxidation rate of 82.86%,binding rate of 51.91%. Hydro-pretreatment with K1- sulfuric acid leaching process was conducted to high effectively recovery copper from the ore. The results showed that,grinding fineness of pretreated stage is 60% -74 μm,with pulp density of 35%,K1 concentration of 9% at 85 ℃ for 1 h,pulp concentration of sulfuric acid was 25%,sulfuric acid concentration of 13.8% at 50 ℃ for 3 h,the corresponding copper leaching rate is 87.44%.
