Abstract: To promote beneficiation level of high-talc-based refractory kamiokate ore of Shangfanggou in Henan, the paper studied its process mineralogy. The results showed that the main valuable minerals are molybdenite and magnetite; High level of harmful talcum and fine grain of molybdenite and magnetite are the main reasons of being difficult to separate. There are closely relationship between magnetite and talcum, while nearly none of magnetite border on molybdenite. Therefore, in beneficiation process, talc accompanying with magnetite are firstly considered to be separated by rough magnetic separation, and then non-magnetic minerals are separated from molybdenite by flotation.
