Abstract: Taking Dayugou Coal Mine in Henan Province as a case, and based on data collection and field work, the variation rule of ecological environment in 21 a since 1988 is analyzed according to Landsat5 TM and Landsat7 ETM+ remote sensing data by using ERDAS IMAGINE 9.1 and Arcgis9.3 software, and Dimidiate Pixel Model, with combination of the statistical methods and GIS spatial analysis techniques. The results indicate that a good effect is obtained by using the multi-temporal remote sensing monitoring data to monitor and analyze the dynamic variation of mine ecological environment.Damage to the ecological environment in the mine is closely consistent with the resource extraction activities in time and space, and the variation rate of the ecological environment is positively correlated with the production capacity in the mine.
