Abstract: The goaf treatment and pillar recovery are related with productive continuity and safety. In view of existing situation that large and high-grade pillars are left over in the production stage 550 in Qingtonggou Mercury-antimony Mine, firstly artificial pillars are used to support the goaf.According to the empirical formula, the construction was designed.Through the stability analysis, the result is seen rational and feasible.Secondly, the intrinsic point-pillars and partial point-pillars of the large pillars are reserved to support the roof.Finally,back-filling fills the whole goaf. This method ensuresd that the workers safety in the work processes and winned over the high-grade pillars recovered entirely as possible.
