Abstract: Taking the siliceous containing vanadium shale from western Hubei as the research object, studied the different effect of acid and alkaline additives on the roasting.Under the optimum conditions, the results of the experiment indicate that:when the roasting temperature is 800 ℃ and the roasting time is 1 h,the water leaching rate of vanadium can reach 74.63% if added 1% alkaline additives Na2CO3 and 2% YL.When the roasting temperature is 850 ℃ and the roasting time is 1.25 h,the water leaching rate can reach 85.36% if added 5% acid additive Na2CO3 and 2% YL.With the SEM detection of the different roasted sample, explain the effect of the two kinds of additives on the roasting for the shale.
