Abstract: According to the study on the geological characteristics and ore-controlling factors of Dongyaozhuang gold deposit in Wutai Mountain，the conclusion can be drawn that the distribution regularity of ore deposit is strictly controlled by regional structures，such as the regional folds，faults and ductile shear zone，with a noticeable ore-controlling feature.The diabase plays an important role in the formation of ore body as well.The enrichment of the ore materials are closely related to the extensive and multi-stage potassium feldspathization.The increasing grade of Au from primary ore，mixed ore to oxidized ore shows that the secondary enrichment is important to improve the Au grade.
