Study on the Engineering Mechanics Characteristic of Anchorage Agent Bolt and its Application

Abstract: Based on the measured pulling force/deformation of anchorage agent bolt, the step function is obtained by fit its mechanics characteristic curve. The pulling force of the anchorage agent bolt approaches average maximum value after supporting ten days, and the deforming capacity increases first, and then decreases over time. According to the measured mechanics characteristic curves of the anchorage agent bolt and typical tunnel deformation characteristic curves, the safety factor method is presented to evaluate the effect of tunnel supporting design, which provides an important basis for optimal design.
