Abstract: With exploitation of the deep ore body, the frequency of roof collapse and rib fall ascends. In order to solve this problem, the excavation process of the deep mine was simulated using FLAC^3D. The stress field and displacement field were analyzed. The numerical results show that the horizon displacement is resulted by the vertical stress, and the vertical displacement is resulted by the horizon stress. It provides theory basis for the tunnel supporting design.
