Abstract: Introduce three kinds of domestic main way of recycling molybdenum from the waste catalyst, namely the method of using pyrogenic process, wet process（including water extraction, acid leaching, alkaline leaching and composite leaching），and also direct utilization process. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of these methods and lastly point out the future research should develop new techniques of low cost, low pollution, low energy consumption and strengthen comprehensive recovery of other beneficial elements in the waste catalyst.
