Abstract: In order to provide basic data for the recovery of oxidized copper ore from Ⅴ ore body in Yulong Copper Mine in Tibet, the process mineralogy was studied by means of chemical composition analysis, phase analysis, optical microscopy analysis and SEM-EDS analysis. The results showed that the ore has a feature of “one-complex three-high one-fine”, showing as complex copper occurrence, high content of limonite, high content of easily-mudding gangue and easily-floating calcite, high content of pyrite, and fine-disseminated useful minerals. It is extremely difficult to concentrate the ores. Therefore, in order to make better use of the copper resources, the combined process should be adopted, and some interference measures be taken in the process, such as fine grinding, removing limonite etc.
