Abstract: The autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) of silica tails, cement and lime is prepared with the silica tails from Qinhuangdao Xinhua Glass Factory.Under the conditions of specific surface area of 321.57 m²/kg by grinding of quartz tailings, the mass ratio of 4 kinds of raw materials quartz tailing, lime, cement and desulfurized gypsum 65∶20∶10∶5, aluminum powder addition with total raw materials of 0.06%, the water ratio 0.57, the mixing water temperature at 55 ℃, the static curing temperature at 50±2 ℃ for 4 h, and the steam curing pressure, temperature and time of 1.25 MPa, 185 ℃ and 12 h respectively, the strength of the product reaches A3.5 level and its dry density is at B06 level.X-ray diffraction analysis and field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis indicate that the main hydration masses in the product are tobermorite and C-S-H gel.
