Abstract: The autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) of silica tails, cement and lime is prepared with the silica tails from Qinhuangdao Xinhua Glass Factory.Under the conditions of specific surface area of 321.57 m2/kg by grinding of quartz tailings, the mass ratio of 4 kinds of raw materials quartz tailing, lime, cement and desulfurized gypsum 65∶20∶10∶5, aluminum powder addition with total raw materials of 0.06%, the water ratio 0.57, the mixing water temperature at 55 ℃, the static curing temperature at 50±2 ℃ for 4 h, and the steam curing pressure, temperature and time of 1.25 MPa, 185 ℃ and 12 h respectively, the strength of the product reaches A3.5 level and its dry density is at B06 level.X-ray diffraction analysis and field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis indicate that the main hydration masses in the product are tobermorite and C-S-H gel.
