    Considering the safety problems for recovering crown pillar at -580 m level of Ⅴ# ore body in Xincheng gold mine, an upward drift mining scheme with backfilling is proposed.Its stope is perpendicular to the strike of the ore body.Division of panel and stope, arrangement of preliminary mining projects, stoping sequence, extraction process, roadway excavation and roof control of the mining scheme were introduced.In order to verify the reasonableness of the proposed mining scheme, stability of roadway and stope was monitored by using rock bolt extensometer and convergence gauge.The results show that the mining method is reasonable.This study may provide theoretical basis and is of important practical significance for crown pillar recovery.

    In order to study the deformation characteristics of the side-wall rock of underhand drift under overlaying filling pressure, and based on the comprehensive analysis of the forming criterions of movable block body in connecting between the backfill body and underhand cut-and-fill drift, the mechanical effects of the backfill body on the underhand cut-and-fill drift is analyzed with elastic theory.The results show that the effects of the backfill body on the stability of the rock of underhand cut-and-fill drift relate with the aspect ratio of the underhand drift, the mechanical properties of the orebody, and the dip angle of the movable rock mass's sliding surface.The deformation and failure mechanism of the movable block body under filling pressure was discussed, and the methods for calculating the stability coefficient of movable block body and the force on the movable block body from the backfill body were put forward.Finally, the applied effect of the method is verified with a practical engineering case in Wushan copper mine.

    According to the engineering practice pf the transition from open-pit to underground in Xingshan iron ore, based on the K.B.LuPei brezhnev's estimation method, the reasonable thickness of boundary pillar in Xingshan iron ranges at between 12.34 to 17.11 m.4 numerical simulation schemes whose boundary pillar thickness are 12 m, 14 m, 16 m, 18 m are built and calculated by using numerical simulation software MIDAS/GTS, and are analyzed from boundary pillar subside, stope pucking, the maximum tensile stress of boundary pillar and the maximum compressive stress of surrounding rock in the stope.It concluded that the optimal thickness of boundary pillar is 16 m.

    Yuanjiacun Iron Open-pit Mine owns the design production capacity of 22 Mt per year.It is hillside stripping open pit at first phase, and subsequently converted to deep open pit.The design service life is 38 a (excluding construction period, 3 a).The mine is put into production at the fourth year, reaches the production capacity at the fifth year with the stable production period of 34 a and the stripping ratio of 2.9 t/t.During the construction period, some difficulties exist in capital construction of the hillside stripping, such as, narrow and small working face, inadequate new level preparation, low equipment efficiency, and the advance preparation of crushing station etc..Meantime, it is also with great significance to shorten the period from the capital construction to the regular production and make the transition of small-sized excavator and large-sized electric shovel smooth and stable.Therefore, this paper focuses on the optimization of the capital construction plan, especially the new level preparation and the transition from capital construction to the stable production.These ensure the capital construction smoothly, and make Yuanjiacun open pit reach the design capacity at the first year of stable production.

    The blasting practice in recent years showed that with the mining depth increasing in Sijiaying Open-pit Iron Mine, slopes at different lithology and different positions were becoming unstable in varying degree.By the co-action principle of the compression stress wave and the quasi static gas pressure, and based on Langefors' research, how to select the parameters for pre-split blasting near final slope of severely-weathered chlorite are analyzed and discussed.Moreover, according to the field tests and practical application in Sijiaying Open-pit Iron Mine, the basic principle of selecting the parameters for pre-split blasting is proposed and good pre-split and vibration reducing effect were achieved finally.

    The east side-slope of Sijiaying iron mine is an open-pit mine with complex conditions.Its eastern slope is basically consistent with the dip direction and angle of the strata, and its occurrence harms the slope stability.The slope has a medium complex hydrogeological condition, and is affected by various factors, such as blasting vibration.The stratum and bedrock composition are complex, and slopes are not effectively supported at the early stage.After slopes exposed for a certain period of time, landslide and potential landslide sign appeared due to the raining and blasting vibration.Combining with the local landslide phenomenon at east slope, the main reason for landslides is analyzed, the emergency treatment scheme is given, and the programs of permanent slope governance are proposed.

    With the mining method optimization of Zhengjiapo Iron Mine as engineering background, the diamond room sublevel stripping with backfilling is put forward through analyzing the geological features of the gently inclined medium-thick ore-body, such as unstable roof, easily flooding, big water yield, loose deposit, much blocks and broken ore-body.The mining method is suitable for the parts of ore-body with thickness of 6~15 m at dip angle of about 10°, which belongs to the gently inclined medium-thick ore-body.Some stones are removed in the mining process, and loss and dilution tends to be medium balance.This mining method is of great significance to increase the output of the mine and safety production.

    In view of the adverse conditions in Minxian Tianhao gold company, such as extremely broken and thin ore-body, low grade, high filling costs, disallowed surface collapse etc.and based on the field investigation and mechanical testing, the tunnel-type upward continuous mining with waste rock filling along the strike is obtained, which is appropriate to the ore-body.This mining method has basic features of non-explosive, continuous shipment of broken rocks, drift upward filling with waste rocks, small cutting, high level of mechanization and safety mining.In practical engineering application, the mining rate reaches 90% with dilution rate of 8%.

    For the purpose of revealing the thermodynamic impact of mechanical activation on the carbothermic reduction of iron oxides, the constituent of stored energy in mechanically activated iron oxides was analyzed, and a functional link between stored energy and carbothermic reduction thermodynamics was founded.The research result showed that the forms of stored energy responsible for remarkably impacting the reduction thermodynamics are dislocation Gibbs free energy and amorphism Gibbs free energy.Carbothermic reduction temperature decreases with the increase of the stored energy for iron oxides (the decrease is not remarkable for the carbothermic reduction of Fe2O3).For the reduction of Fe3O4, the temperature for the transition of 1/4Fe3O4+CO=3/4Fe+CO2 into Fe3O4+CO=3FeO+CO2decreases linearly with the increase of stored energy for Fe3O4.

    With bituminous coal from Shandong as reducing agent, and QM as assistant reducer, the experiment on refractory hematite ore from Inner Mongolia was carried out by the process of direct reduction-two-stage grinding-low intensity magnetic separation.The results show that under the conditions of reducer and assistant reducer with dosage of 40% and 30% and roasting at 1 200 ℃ for 3 h, grinding size at first-stage of 70.63% -0.074 mm and two-stage of 90.48% -0.043 mm, magnetic intensity of 110 kA/m, the powder iron with Fe grade of 91.74% and Fe recovery of 91.46% was obtained.It provides an alternative proposal for the development and utilization of the iron ore as this kind.

    In order to provide a basis for the development and utilization of a low-grade K-feldspar ore in Fujian,, the beneficiation tests on this ore was carried out. The results showed that with sulfuric acid as modifier, dodecylamine+diesel as collector of floating mica, hydrofluoric acid and dodecylamine as activator and collector of floating K-feldspar separately, K-feldspar concentrate with K2O content of 9.84% and recovery of 82.82% and quartz concentrate with SiO2 content of 98.80% and recovery of 26.07% were obtained through the flow-sheet of high intensity magnetic separation for iron removal-desliming-flotation for mica removal-flotation separation of K-feldspar and quartz. K-feldspar concentrate can meet the requirement of A-level K-feldspar raw materials for the ceramic industry, and quartz concentrates comes in line with the requirements of low-grade quartz sand for the glass industry.

    Suspension-type dry separator is a new type of dry pre-concentration equipment for magnetic iron ore self-developed by Dalian Haiqiao Science and Technology Co.,Ltd..It is adopted to make industrial tests on the dry tailings removal for the super lean magnetite of Chengde Baiquan iron ore.The results showed that compared with the CTG800×1400 magnetic pulley traditionally used in Baiquan Iron Mine, this equipment made tailings removal rate increased from 5.20% to 20.24%, ore grade for grinding increased from 0.50% to 1.12%, the content of magnetic iron in tailings decreased from 1.16% to 0.75%.Economic benefit analysis showed that 16 500 t more iron concentrate was produced each year by using this equipment, and the corresponding production value was increased by 16.5 million yuan a year according to the current price.

    For a Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic sulfide ore of Jiangxi, lead mainly occurs in galenite, zinc mainly occurs in sphalerite, silver mainly exists in the forms of affonite, argentite and pyrargyrite and is closely associated with galenite.In order to rationally explore the mineral resources, the beneficiation researches were made.The results showed that under grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 78%, and alkaline conditions of pH=11 when lime formed, with diethyldithiocarbamate + ammonium dibuyldithiophosphate as the combined collector for lead-silver minerals, ZnSO4 + Na2SO4 as inhibitor for zinc mineral to preferentially concentrate lead and the associated silver minerals, copper sulfate as activator for lead-silver tailings flotation, and butyl xanthate as collector for sphalerite flotation, lead concentrate with grade of 57.05% and recovery of 88.11%, and zinc concentrate with grade of 48.31% and recovery of 86.29% were obtained respectively.Total silver recovery reached 87.99% from lead and zinc concentrates.

    Aimed at the problems that the former beneficiation process can not adapt the nature of the ore and cyanide addition in the process for a lead-zinc-silver mine in Sichuan, another flotation test on this ore was made.The results showed that: under the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 85%, and with lime as adjusting agent, zinc sulfate+sodium sulfite as inhibitor, diethyldithioc butyl xanthate as collector to concentrate zinc, lead concentrate with grade of 51.80% and lead recovery of 64.75% and zinc concentrate with grade of 53.55% and recovery of 91.83% were obtained separately.The total recovery of silver in lead and zinc concentrates reached 83.75%.The tests realized higher recovery of lead, zinc and silver and adopted cyanide-free process, comparing with the on-site process.

    Based on the multifractal theory, the C-A method of Multifractal model is used to study stream sediment geochemical data of 1∶200 000 scale in Nanjing-Zhenjiang copper-polymetallic metallogenic belt, and the regional anomaly lower limit and local anomaly lower limit of the elements are obtained by analyzing area-concentration double logarithmic chart of the ore-forming elements.The research results show that the local anomaly lower limit and the corresponding anomaly area obtained by the C-A method of multifractal model is more reasonable than that obtained by the method of cumulative percentage of 85% and the method of Mean plus 2 times the standard deviation and it is also consistent with the principle of maximum potential rate with minimum area through comparing with the local anomaly lower limit of different methods and comparing with the relationship between mineral and the anomaly area of different methods.The result of multi-phase of mineralization in this region is also recognized by the multifractal theory, and the mineralization potential of Cu, Pb, Zn is adequate, followed by Ag and then Au.

    In order to carry out scientific and rational risk evaluation on mine water inrush and to effectively identify the mine water inrush risk, and based on analysis and synthesis of the factors of mine water inrush risk, a reasonable mine water inrush risk evaluation system was set up.The weight of each factor is established by analytic hierarchy process (AHP).Then scoring each factor by experts, the average score of each factor is got.Finally, the evaluation result is obtained from the above average scores.The method was validated by an appraisal example, and the result showed that the method could improve the accuracy and availability of risk assessment of mine water inrush, and is more in line with the reality.

    With application of Rayleigh wave detection technology, field measurement and numerical simulation, the fissure developmental condition of floor strata for seam No.3 with short distance abnormal procedure mining for +450 m in Muchengjian mine is detected, obtaining the partition of damage degree of seam No.3 floor and its space distribution caused by the seam No.2 mining.The research results indicate that the seam No.3 floor ranges in the fractured zone caused by mining of the seam No.2;the cracks of rock caused by the seam No.2 mining is developed well especially between the position 19 m and 7.8 m of the seam No.3 floor;The medium sandstone stratum of the seam No.3 floor is in basic complete state, and this section is the key horizon of stability for the No.3 seam.The basic drilling test coincides with the results of Rayleigh wave detection, reflecting the credibility of Rayleigh wave detection with abnormal procedures to detect the fracture of floor strata.Then the numerical simulation is used to analyze the pressure released effect and regions with abnormal procedure of mining.

    Nanminghe Iron Mine and Wannian Coal Mine of Hebei province, belong to the same hydrogeological unit with coal ore in the upper permo-carboniferous system and iron ore in the contact metasomatic mineralization of ordovician and pyrolith at the bottom of coal mine.High-volume pit water gushing, high pressure on the lower coal mine, and complex mine hydrogeological conditions directly threaten the safety of mining.Through analyzing the characteristics of the mine hydrogeological system, the volume of pit water gushing is forecast by using the numerical method.In the light of the hydrological conditions and relationships between the two mines, with the reference of mine exploitation program, a scheme that two mines share the dewatering and drainage system is proposed to uniformly solve the mine flood, which will avoid overlapping construction and save large amount of infrastructure and operating costs.

    Based on Fisher discriminant theory, a Fisher classification model of rock masses quality is established.Six indexes consisting of uniaxial compressive strength, P-wave velocity in rock, volumetric joint count, roughness coefficients of joints, weathering coefficients and permeability coefficient of joints are chosen as discriminant factors, and the linear discriminant functions are obtained to classify the samples which are trained and measured from rock masses engineering.The results show that the FDA model owns stable performance, high prediction accuracy and good classification quality.It can effectively reduce the influence of human factors.As an effective way to make rock mass classification, FDA can be used in practical engineering.

    Land reclamation suitable assessment of tailing pond is an important part of the land reclamation proposals. According to the principle of tailings reclamation appropriate land type selection,the factors that could influence heavy pollution tailings reclamation,including slope,soil layer thickness effective terrain,irrigation and drainage water conditions,basal pollution,stability,soil texture,pH value,salt concentration,land area. The integrated error rate method is used to evaluation the tailing pond from suitable for glebe,suitable for garden,suitable for forest land,suitable for grass land. According to the calculation get the total deviation rate of the each evaluation unit reclamation in the Hongtoushan,and the more reasonable reclamation direction mainly is the level second or third grassland,level third woodland. To protect the mining area environment,Main reclamation should choose the grassland and shrubs type woodland. The main restrictive factors are pollution,basal stability,soil texture,that could provide reference for the design of the tailings reclamation and the late planning.

    The parameters of Duncan-Chang (E-B) constitutive model for the tailings dam of an Iron Mine in Chengde are obtained through soil tests. Midas GTS finite element analysis software is adopted to establish the numerical calculation model for tailings dam and to make the sensitivity analysis of E-B model parameters Kn, Kb, m on the tailings deformation respectively. The analysis results show that the Kn values greatly affect of the calculation accuracy of the tailings dam deformation. Among these values,K affects the vertical displacement of the tailings pond to be utmost,and n impacts on the horizontal displacement to be utmost. 2 reasonable parameters values are extremely important for the tailings dam deformation.

    Ajialongwa gold mine is located in the Qinghai-tibet plateau.The area of vegetation occupied and destroyed by the gold mine are more than 295 520 square meters, so the ecological environment of mining area need to restore.In view of the present production and land suitability, and based on the field investigation and sampling analysis, some methods are put forwards, such as neutralizing the solidified tailing slag with lime, improving surrounding rock by using sludge, reclamation at the original soil, and vegetation restoration by planting the qualified grass.Through the above methods, the healthy ecosystem and safety ecological pattern are realized.

    This paper conducts tests of uniaxial compression,setting time and collapsed slump with mixed disposal paste and expatiates on the relationship of mixed disposal paste properties with cement-sand ratio and concentration of solution.The test results show compressive strength of mixed disposal paste is mainly related to cement-sand ratio and has little relation with concentration of solution.Setting time,collapsed slump and diffusion degree are main related to concentration of solution and have little relation with cement-sand ratio.Compressive strength of mixed disposal paste in the 28 d should be between 1.0 and 2.0 MPa,cement-sand ratio should be less than 1∶12 and concentration should be between 81% and 83%.

    Taking paste filling in Daizhuang coal mine of Zibo mining group as the study background,based on the physicochemical properties of gangue,fly ash etc,the uniform experiments concluded the optimal proportion of paste filling material.Then,studies on mechanical properties of paste are carried out which is maintained for 28 d,the contractive analysis on mechanical properties between paste and replacement coal is made.The results show that the filling materials have greater residual strength,a clear plastic strengthening characteristics under action of the ambient pressure.Meanwhile,the angle of internal friction and the binding coefficient of the paste material are gained.The plastic characteristic of the paste materials is more obvious than that of coal through the contrast tests with the mechanical properties of the replaced coal.

    Taking improving 9K culture solution inoculated from Thiobacillus ferrooxidans (calling “GZY-1#”)as the leaching agent, N902 as the extraction agent, the sulfuric acid solution as a stripping agent, and the lead-based alloy plates and stainless steel plates as the anode and cathode of the electrolyzerat respectively, experiments of biochemical leaching-extraction-electrodeposition are made to extract copper from waste printed circuit boards of Guangdong Qingyuan Jintian Nonferrous Metals Company at room temperature.Under the appropriate conditions, the average copper leaching rate from samples reached 95.29%, and the average copper content in leached residue reduced by 0.088%.Through the extract-back-extract-electrodeposition, the electrodeposited copper purity reached 99.95%.Through the tests, high recovery of copper from waste printed circuit boards was realized, and the problem of the copper interference in comprehensive utilization of non-metallic materials in the waste printed circuit board was solved as well.

    The autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) of silica tails, cement and lime is prepared with the silica tails from Qinhuangdao Xinhua Glass Factory.Under the conditions of specific surface area of 321.57 m2/kg by grinding of quartz tailings, the mass ratio of 4 kinds of raw materials quartz tailing, lime, cement and desulfurized gypsum 65∶20∶10∶5, aluminum powder addition with total raw materials of 0.06%, the water ratio 0.57, the mixing water temperature at 55 ℃, the static curing temperature at 50±2 ℃ for 4 h, and the steam curing pressure, temperature and time of 1.25 MPa, 185 ℃ and 12 h respectively, the strength of the product reaches A3.5 level and its dry density is at B06 level.X-ray diffraction analysis and field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis indicate that the main hydration masses in the product are tobermorite and C-S-H gel.

    To solve the problems of fine tailings filtration for backfilling in Fankou Lead-zinc Mine, the hydrocyclone desliming tests on the tailings were carried out. The filtration performance of hydrocyclone grits was investigated through the laboratory vacuum filtration tests and the single filter plate tests with ceramic filter. The results showed that with the use of CZI 100 cyclone, a lot of -9.98 μm micro-fine particles in the fine tailings slimes can be removed in the right conditions, and the grits removal can meet the requirements of the concentration greater than 60% and the production rate greater than 40%. Good filtration performance of grits has been achieved. In the laboratory vacuum filtration test, the speed of filtrate was up to about 4 times as much as the feed of disc filter for in-site fine tailings. In single filter plate test with the ceramic filter, the filter cake moisture was reduced to 23% or less.

    The porous ceramsite with tailings addition of 77% was prepared with low silica iron tailings as raw materials. And the effect of the prepared ceramsite on the sewage water treatment was investigated through biological aerated filter at laboratory. The results showed that since the ceramsite has features of surfaces roughening, internal porous and the apparent density, the apparent porosity and the average pore diameter of 1.33 g/cm3, 54% and 19.80 μm respectively, the concentration of heavy metals in leaching solution in heavy metals leaching tests reached the national environmental quality standards for surface water. The biological aerated filter with the ceramsite as filter has a good effect on treating the sewage in simulation, with the removal rate of CODCr, NH+4-N and TN of 84.26%, 84.01% and 25.87% respectively; There are numerous microbial species on the ceramsite filter, and total biological phospholipid per unit of ceramiste mass can be up to 371.63 nmol/g at water inlet, and 90.79% and 9.21% at ceramiste's surface and interior respectively.

    In order to provide mineralogical basis for the iron concentration from gas quenching slag of Tangshan Iron and Steel Company, the process mineralogy of the slag was studied by the means of chemical analysis, iron phase analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, polarizing microscope analysis to identify the material composition, occurrence, dissemination feature and particle size distribution of the iron ore. The study results point out that the target minerals in the dressing tests are limonite, magnetite and metallic iron, among which limonite separation requires the magnetic roasting or direct reduction method. Magnetite and metallic iron can be separated by the conventional physical beneficiation method, but the process needs stage grinding with the final grinding fineness of less than 40 μm.
