Research of Copper-zinc Flotation Separation Process of a Copper-zinc Ore

Abstract: College of Resource and Environmental Engineering,Jiangxi University of Science and Technology There are high content of secondary copper oxide among a copper-zinc polymetallic sulfide ores at domestic. Due to its fine particle size of useful minerals and complex dissemination, beneficiation research of the ore to separate copper and zinc is made by adopting the process of grinding-copper-zinc bulk flotation-regrinding of mixed coarse concentrates-copper-zinc separation. Through the close-circuit process obtained from the above conditional tests, copper concentrate with Cu grade of 22.72% and recovery of 82.26%, zinc concentrate with Zn grade of 57.63% and recovery of 62.92% were achieved. Pyrite recovery retained in tailings will be reserved as follow-up study.
