Abstract: Mine belt conveyer is the necessary transport equipment for mine Enterprise. The soft starter can restrict starting current of induction motor and reduce equipment fault rate. With the reference of DC motor double closed loop regulation system，the soft starter system with speed control loop is built. Then，the simulation model and the simulation results of double closed loop soft starter system are present. Based on the double closed-loop control strategy，the hardware structure and the realization of software for the soft starter are proposed.
