Abstract: In order to provide the basis for development and utilization of a certain muscovite in Henan，beneficiation tests of the ore were carried out. The results showed that under grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 50.20%，iron-containing impurities including biotite，magnetite，hematite，limonite and tourmaline were firstly removed by using the high gradient high intensity magnetic separation. Then，under the acidic condition of pH=3，muscovite，quartz and feldspar were separated by using dodecylamine. Finally，muscovite concentrate with muscovite content of 91%，muscovite recovery of 70.75%，Fe₂O₃ content of 5.10% was obtained，which can meet the requirements of rubber filler in industry.
