Abstract: Process mineralogy research on a copper-lead-zinc polymetallic ore from Liaoning province was carried out.The emphasis was focusing on the structure, tectonics, mineral composition, occurrence state of copper, lead and zinc, and dissemination characteristics of main minerals. The results showed that sulphide ore has close and complex intergrowth with each other as well as with gangue minerals. There exist embedding relationship between lead and copper, zinc and copper, which may be harmful for separation of copper, lead and zinc. The process mineralogy results provide reference for selecting and determining the flotation process for the copper-lead-zinc polymetallic sulphide ore.
