Optimization of Mine Ventilation Resistance Parameter Based on Ventsim Software

Abstract: It's very important to research the impact of the wind resistance changing regular of mine ventilation on mine ventilation network solution and optimal regulation. The single factor analysis method is proposed to realize a fast and high efficient optimal ventilation system by using the equilibrium rule of air volume,wind pressure and wind resistance of the ventilation system. In this method,the reacting rule for the other branch's air volume and air pressure with the variation is concluded through changing the wind resistance of one roadway branch. Taking a metal mine for example,the ventilation system model was introduced into Ventsim three-dimensional simulation system. Selecting a special branch as a representative,with any other parameters unchanged,and varying its wind resistance,the data needed were calculated out by simulation. Finally,the resolving results were analyzed and compared to determine the relationship between the branch and the associated branch's air volume and fan operating to judge its impacting level on the stability of the ventilation. The research not only provides the theoretical basis for the design of the mine ventilation system at early stage,but also the data support for post-mine ventilation system operation and reconstruction,and eventually lays a solid foundation for realizing the mine safety production.
