Abstract: According to the geological exploration data of the Honglongchang mining area in Yuanjiang county,Yunnan province, combining with the DIMINE software, the ore deposit geology database and the three-dimensional entity model of the faults and ore-body in mining area are established. So,the three-dimensional visualization of the drilling data information is realized, and also the output location and space morphology characteristics of the ore-body are revealed intuitively and truly. The borehole samples data are selected and grouped based on the principle of geostatistics.According to the statistical distribution characteristic of the grouped samples, the variation function model of the mining area is established. The copper grade blocks are assigned value by using the ordinary kriging method.Combing with the assigned value, the segment model method is adopted to calculate the ore deposit reserves. The research results show that, the copper mine modeling in Honglongchang mining area has a higher precision, and the reserves calculation results are reliable. The above research results can provide an important theoretical basis for dynamic management of the mining resources and the subsequent production work.
