Abstract: Mine parks,as a continuation in the lifecycle of mines, can release the pressure in the social and economic development of mining cities resulted from the mineral resources depletion.Due to different philosophies about the spatial organization and construction in different area, mine parks show different construction style. With Nanjing Yeshan Mine Park,an emerging national mine park,as a target, the spatial organizations and feasibility for industrialization in mine parks were discussed. The spatial organization of Yeshan Mine Park was analyzed.Based on the characteristics of resource distribution, two modes of functional zoning and mining relics zoning of mine park were proposed and the mode of coordination among scenic areas in the park was described. The promoting effect of tourism industrialization on other industries was discussed to solve the issue of economic sustainability in mines.Combining the resource-related characteristics,an especial industrialization mode of mine parks was designed. After evaluating the social benefits, ecological benefits and economic benefits, some feasible suggestions on industrialization and ecological restoration of mine parks were put forward.
