Study on Underground Solid Sylvite Mining Processes and Equipment Matching Technologies

Abstract: In order to study the application of the mining processes and equipment of the continuous miner in underground mining of solid sylvite deposits,according to the geological conditions of the seams of sylvite and magnesium salt mine fields in Longhu Lake,Laos,the mining processes,equipment matching methods and equipment applicability in the 1st District Sublevel,2nd Panel,and 1st District are analyzed.The study results show that the continuous miner-shuttle car (intermittent haulage process system)have stronger adaptability to geological conditions,and the ore body cutting efficiency of the continuous miner can be improved by changing the cutting methods of the continuous miner and reducing the depth cut into ore body.Successful application of the mining methods changes the traditional mining mode,and also improves the mechanization level and resource recovery rate.The research results have laid a foundation for expanding the application scope of the continuous miner,and also provided a new model for mining of solid sylvite resources under similar conditions.
