Experiment on Beneficiation of a Refractory Iron Ore in Inner Mongolia

Abstract: In order to determine the process flow of fine particle,low grade and refractory iron ore in Inner Mongolia,experiments were carried out based on the analysis of ore properties.The results showed that low intensity magnetic concentrate with iron grade of 65.30% and recovery of 48.57% and high gradient high intensity magnetic concentrate with iron grade of 60.25% and recovery of 32.37% were obtained by the process of grinding-one roughing and one cleaning low intensity magnetic separation-low intensity magnetic separation tailing regrinding and one roughing and one cleaning high gradient high intensity magnetic separation.Total iron concentrate contains iron grade of 63.18% with Fe recovery of 80.94%.
