Abstract: Using titanium chloride-potassium dichromate titrimetric method to detect total iron content in ore, when copper, vanadium, arsenic, molybdenum was exists in the ore,the determination results generated will greatly influenced. Therefore, common interference elements on the determination of iron content was carried on the quantitative systematic experimental study, the influence of the interference of coexisting elements, and proposed the corresponding elimination method.Verification test on various iron ores from different areas by the method showed that test results error is small, the method has good applicability. The results have been adopted by the national standard method.
