Abstract: In order to research the effect of drawing funnel angle at the bottom of the ore-pass on ore fluidity in ore-pass,-480 m to -410 m section of the main ore-pass in Jinshandian Iron Mine is taken as the engineering background, and the PFC2D discrete element software is used to simulate the ore drawing process,of which the drawing funnel angles are 45°,50°,55°,60° and 65° respectively. For describing quantitatively the difference of ore fluidity under different ore drawing funnel angles, the ore mass flow rate ratio is defined as the evaluation index of ore fluidity. The characteristics of ore fluidity under every drawing funnel angle are analyzed and the effect mechanism of drawing funnel angle on the ore fluidity is revealed.Ore drawing similarity test platform is constructed and ore drawing similarity simulation tests under different drawing funnel angles are carried out.The mass flow rate ratios are calculated and compared with numerical simulation. The results show that the ore mass flow rate ratio is the largest and the ore fluidity is the best when the ore funnel angle is 60 degree;Variation tendency of ore mass flow rate ratios of similarity tests and numerical simulation are almost identical. The results of numerical simulation can be verified by similarity test.
