Abstract: In order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of stope acceptance measurement in gold mine, taking the under stope of a gold mine in shandong Province as the study example, the underground volume of the mine is measured and calculated by adopting 3D laser scanning method instead of traditional measurement method.According to the measurement mode of 3D laser scanning, the data processing flow is discussed, the measurement error analysis method is established, the influence of the error of 3D laser scanning and sampling interval to stope volume calculation is studied, data format conversion and data sharing mechanism are analyzed, besides that, the application of 3D laser scanning data and the influence of different contour interval and thin interval to the calculation accuracy of stope volume are analyzed. The study results show that 3D spatial data can be obtained by using 3D laser scanning technique, and some related model with high precision can be established, besides that,in order to improve the calculation accuracy of stope volume, the reasonable sampling interval of 3D laser scanning data is 50~200 mm,the contour interval should be less than 0.5 m and the thin interval should not be greater than 1.5 m.
