Abstract: In order to discriminate the unloaded/loaded running status of the mine heavy-duty truck in open-pit mine,a distance discrimination analysis model of the unloaded/loaded running status was presented.Five factors including tire pressure, tire temperature, velocity, accelerated velocity and environmental temperature are selected as the discrimination factors, and 97 sets of sample data are considered as training samples.Based on the basic principle of the distance discrimination, the discriminant analysis model is established with Mahalanobis distance as the discriminant distance. The rationality of the model is proved by the back substitution results of the training samples and the hypothesis test results.By using this model, the accurate discrimination of the sample was realized, which shows that the model can be applied to judge the unloaded/loaded running state of the mine heavy-duty truck.
