Abstract: Taking the modified bentonite, n-butyl titanate and titanium tetrachloride from Xinjiang Wulanlingge as the raw material, PEG modified TiO2/bentonite catalyst and TiO2/pillared bentonite catalyst are prepared. Then these two catalysts are respectively applied to treat dyeing wastewater from a Xinjiang woolen mill, methylorange simulated wastewater and petrochemical wastewater. The research showed that PEG modified TiO2/bentonite photocatalyst realized a maximum degradation rate to 87.67% at 2 h on methylorange simulated wastewater, and TiO2/ pillared bentonite photocatalyst realized the highest degradation rate to 78.12% at on the degradation of petrochemical wastewater.Meanwhile, both above mentioned can reach the highest degeneration rates of 44.15% and 40.53% respectively at 2 h on Xinjiang woolen mill waste water. The recycling recovery on the PEG modified TiO2/bentonite catalyst and the secondary degradation of woolen mill wastewater were also studied.
