Abstract: Geogas survey，found by K.Cristiansson and L.Malmqvist in 1980's，is a potential mean for geochemical exploration in covered regions and has been studied since it was introduced into China.A lot of improvements have been made in China as efforts by many geochemists.However，little knowledge about its formation and lack of standard procedures limited its application in practical mineral exploration.Through the simulation experiments of geo-gas migration for the quaternary sediment samples and the TEM observation，it is identified that the minerals more easily adsorbing nano-gold are lepidocrocite，goethite，kaolinite，halloysite and so on.These minerals are the main factors that affect the migration.This research can be applied into the ore prospecting of metal deposits in the tropical or sub-tropical region of China.
