Abstract: There are still 12% of Manganese in a Manganese tailing.To make well use of the resources，some re-beneficiation tests on tailings to improve the recovery was carried out by the dry-type high-intensity magnetic separation process，the wet-type high-intensity magnetic separation，and the dry-wet combined HIMS.The tests results indicated that manganese concentrate grading of 35.41% at an 80.37% recovery was obtained by the wet HIMS，and grade of 34.45% at an 82.35% recovery by the dry-wet combined HIMS.Compared with both processes，the latter is more economical and reasonable with grinding decreased by 43%.
