Abstract: The explosive materials and initiation method are intuitively characterized by the schematic diagram in teaching and design of blasting engineering.However, no unified code for the schematic diagram is proposed.According to the common nonel tube and its initiation method, a number of different graphic representation and marking methods are collected to analyze the corresponding operation technologies and their respective merits and demerits.Consequently, the corresponding graphic representation and legend are normalized based on its features as imagery, simplification and visualization, thus providing a better guide to blasting practice and teaching process.
