Abstract: The design situation of PE type Jaw crusher is anasylised briefly,then the necessities of developing and using of rapid design system in enterprise are described.The combination of  NX secondary development tools ,system engineering technology and theory of knowledge based engineering is applied to develop the rapid design system.Introduced the key technologies in detail and the engineering application.The result showed that the rapid design system could improve the efficiency and quality of PE type Jaw Crusher.
