Abstract: A comprehensive review is made of the progress in the application research of magnetic treatment technology in mineral processing achieved in recent years, including the basic theory of magnetic treatment technology, its application in the flotation of metal ores and non-metal ores and in the chemical leaching, and the present situation, development trend and existing problems in the research of magnetic treatment mechanism. Magnetic treatment technology is a comparatively new technology and it has unique characteristics and wide application prospect. Enhancing the comprehensive utilization of magnetic field and mineral processing technology will be no doubt of important significance to the environment protection, energy preservation, resource recovery, formation of magnetic treatment mechanism and development of mineral processing technology.
