Abstract: In light of the practically measured data of the in-situ stress in Zijinshan gold-copper mining area and its geological structural conditions, a multielement regression model was established by using finite element method. The regression coefficients were obtained by the stepwise regression of the practically measured ground stress values, which were used to accurately inverse the in-situ stress field of the mining area and to find its distribution regularity in this mining area.It is of important significance to the study of the open pit slope stability, underground mining method and mining sequence in open-pit and underground combined mining.
