The statistical results of typical Au, Ag deposits reveal that the relativity between gold and silver elements(RGSE)of altered rocks plays a role of indicating the mineralization type of deposit. When RGSE is high, both Au and Ag can have a content required for economic ore bodies while RGSE is low, only Au or Ag can be of economic significance. The theoretical and practical analysis indicates that the differentiation of Au from Ag may result from their difference in geochemical properties, primary rock formation characteristics and the origin and evolution of the hydrothermal fluids.RGSE can better reveal the superposition of multi-phases of mineralized fluids than Au/Ag ratio. It is of guidance significance to the application of RGSE to infer the potential mineralization type of deposits, to the exploration for reserve expansion of the existing mines and to the resource comprehensive utilization.

Through indoor rock loading method, mechanical characteristics of acoustic emission properties of different rocks in their whole failure process are tested; the mechanical characteristics of the whole rock failure process are obtained, including the relevant curves and parameters such as whole stress-strain curves, number of acoustic emission events and acoustic emission event rate; and the relationships of the number and rate of acoustic emission event with the stress level and time are studied. The stress is laid on the decrease of stress increment in unit time when the stress strength is near to its peak value in one-time loading on non-brittle rock an evident time-consuming phenomenon occurs in this stage. In addition, the rate of the acoustic emission event monitored in this stage decreases obviously and acoustic emission quietude occurs. However, for brittle rocks, there is basically neither evident “time-consuming” phenomenon nor relative acoustic emission quietude in this stage.Combining with the indoor test, some issues in the monitoring of the acoustic emission in in-situ rockmass failure are summarized and analyzed, hereby providing a theoretical basis, method and means for the field monitoring and forecast of rockmass stability by means of acoustic emission.

Impact experiments of post-high temperature sandstone were made on SHPB test system and the curves of stress-strain were obtained. The test results show that the dynamic strength of sandstone under impact decreases with the temperature rise. The parameters were fitted by the theory of accelerating energy release(AER)forecasting the macro destruction portent of rock and the parameters value representing the AER degree were all below one, indicating that the elastic strain energy is in accelerated energy release before the final destruction of the rock sample. The parameter z increased with the temperature rise, indicating that the AER before the rock destruction decreases with the rise of temperature. This research has further improved and developed AER theory and is the first time to adopt AER theory to reveal the energy release characteristics before destruction of post-high temperature rock sample under impact.

Through the acoustic emission(AE)experiments on the failure process of burst-prone quartzitic diorites under one-cycle loading and unloading condition, the characteristics of spectrum of AE signal and the relations among AE counts, energy, AE rate, energy rate, strain and time were studied. The results show that the rock experiences an initial consolidation stage and a non- elastic stage. The acoustic activity is stronger under unloading than under initial loading condition and the unloading further promotes the instable deformation. Before the deformation, AE rate and energy rate sharply increase and in the loading-unloading-loading process, the main frequency of acoustic activity develops in a process of low frequency, medium frequency, high frequency and then sub-high frequency, which can be reference to the rock-burst prediction for this type of rockmass.

With Xinjiang Wulanlinge bentonite as the raw material,a series of anionic and cationic organic betonites were prepared by adding anionic and cationic surfactants. The raw betonite and the organic betonites were characterized by XRD,SEM and viscosity. The XRD results show that after the modification, the spacing between montomorillonite layers is increased from 1.337 nm to 2.538 nm; and the SEM results indicate that the anionic and cationic surfactants have penetrated in between montomorillonite layers.Anionic and cationic organic betonite was used as absorbent to remove glutamic acid in the biological waste water treatment. When pH = 5.6 and the dosage of anionic and cationic organic betonite is 2 g/L,the removal rate of glutamic acid can reach 40.09%.

Abstract Fe3Si-Ti(C,N)multiphase material was prepared from the iron tailings of titanium separation in Panzhihua Steel by using active carbon as the reductant and adopting carbothermic process and realizing an integration of synthesis and sintering, hereby exploring a new way to synthesize multiphase material at low cost by using tailings. The phases, microstructure and composition of the sintered product were characterized by means of X ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)and the mechanical property of the sample was also studied.XRD result indicates that the main crystal phases of the product are Fe3Si and Ti(C,N).It is known from SEM and EDS results that the resultant Ti(C,N )phase is enriched around Fe3Si. The bulk density and superficial Rockwell hardness is increased with the temperature rise. When the temperature for synthesis is 1 500 ℃ and the holding time is 4 h,the resultant sintered product has a high bulk density(ρ =4.331 g/cm3 )and high superficial Rockwell hardness(HR15N =85.0)
