Abstract: Experiment study was made on the beneficiation of a low grade refractory iron ore from Hebei.The results show that a comprehensive concentrate grading over 60.00% at an iron recovery of 35.00%（a corresponding magnetic iron recovery of 52.47%）can be obtained by a process composed of tailing pre-discarding from ROM ore（-12 mm), two stage grinding and two stage magnetic separation, centralized classification, re-grinding and several cleanings of the roughing concentrates and dewatering, classification, regrinding and re-concentration of the middling. A final iron concentrate grading over 65.00% can be gained through a further classification of the comprehensive concentrate.
