Abstract: The complexity and diversity of ore forming are common to mineral resources, the difficulty in whose research is the evolution of the ore forming process. The multivariate statistical analysis of geochemical elements can be used to deduce their evolution characteristics in complex ore forming process so as to provide valuable micro information for ore prospecting.Cluster analysis of the relevant elements of drill holes in Guangxi Dachang ore field was made. The factor analysis revealed the complex and superposed mineralizations in the ore formation in this ore field. The enrichment of Zn and Sn is closely related to multi-metal elements and has no direct relation with elements such as Au.Sb, Pb, Ag and Cu can be used as the indicating elements for ore prospecting.
