Abstract: In view of the characteristics of great technical difficulty and complex structure of the study of 3D spatial data interpolation method, by taking advantage of the theoretical and practical experience provided in the long term development of the existing 2D spatial data interpolation, and on the theoretical base of geostatistics, detailed study is made on the key steps in 3D common Kriging block interpolation method.Meanwhile, the key techniques and main methods in establishing non-laminated orebody block model are presented. In light of the problem of data search of information points in interpolation process, an elliptical sector search method for real 3D space is proposed, making the calculation results more accurate. Finally, visualization software for block modeling is developed from the bottom layer, which has been verified in a mine and can be of certain guidance significance to the modeling of non-laminated orebody and orebody reserve calculation.
